Kindo LLC ("Kindo," "we," "our," or "us") operates the Kindo mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about you and your children when you use our Service.

Kindo is a family app designed for parents and legal guardians to manage chores and rewards for their children. Because children of all ages may use the Service, we take privacy seriously and comply fully with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

Important: A parent or legal guardian must create the Kindo account and approve their child's access before any child can use the app. We require verifiable parental consent before collecting any personal information from children under 13. We never sell children's data to third parties and do not use advertising or tracking technologies in the children's portion of our app.

Who Can Use Kindo

Kindo accounts must be created by a parent or legal guardian who is 18 years of age or older. Children and teens under 18 may use the app only after their parent or legal guardian has created the account and granted them access.

For children under 13, we obtain verifiable parental consent before collecting any personal information, in compliance with COPPA. Parents may review, update, or delete their child's information at any time.

We do not use children's personal information for advertising, marketing profiling, or any purpose beyond delivering the core Service.

Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Kindo complies fully with COPPA. Specifically:

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service and comply with legal obligations. When you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 90 days. You may request deletion at any time by contacting privacy@joinkindo.com.
